Today, I begin the new chapter of my online life. That’s right, friends, today I restart my blog, for realsies. I’m not sure yet what you’ll find here. I mean, of course the random musings of yours truly, and perhaps a bit of a photolog of my endeavors. I consider myself a storyteller, a social commenter, and a bit of a fool. I’m a blackberry addict, a facebook and twitter whore, I watch altogether too much food network, and decorating shows are definitely my downfall.
You’re probably wondering why it is that I’ve titled my blog Eunoia. I’ve provided the definition, but it’s more than that. You’ll notice that the word contains every vowel. I like the idea that, although every word requires at least one vowel, there is a word that requires only one consonant. That is to say, I mean, that despite vowels being remarkable, there’s the potential for consonants to be, as well. I’m at a place in my life where I believe everything has the potential to be remarkable. From a night out in Toronto to a batch of cupcakes, everything has an ‘n’. Everything has that one little thing that seems out of place, even though it’s something you see every day.
Besides that, the word Eunoia means ‘well mind’ or ‘beautiful thinking’ and that’s what I’m aiming for. I’m aiming for a blog with sensible thoughts, hilarious stories, beautiful revelations.
I hope you don’t think this goal is too lofty, or anything like that, and I do hope that you decide to follow my blog - or follow me on twitter, since every post I make will be posted there and on facebook.
